Traditional/Authentic Assessment: The assessment is used to determine learner achievement of the standard and objectives at hand. Students were given two ways to take their assessment, they could take the assessment on paper with pencil or electronically. Both forms of the assessment tested students’ knowledge on standard 6.NS.8 through the use of short answer, multiple choice, classification, multipart, and matching table questions. This assessment was composed of 7 question. Students received immediate feedback with completion of the assessment. Results showed that students were able to master the content.
Examination of PROCESS, MEDIA, AND BLENDED LEARNING MODEL: The process in which students were given new content was effective. The use of the blended learning model allowed strategic grouping and allowing students to rotate through 3 rigorous technological stations (one of which was a hybrid). Classroom environment, mood, and peer conversations allowed me to see and hear my students being actively engaged. I would conclude that this model was very effective and helped my students to better grasp the concept at hand. The only revision needed is to constantly stay uptodate with new technologies and there is always room to add more rigor
