Instructional Sequence

We will start off with each educator attempting to log into to Edulastic.  Once in,  all educators will watch me go through a short tutorial on Edulastic.  They will them split into groups based on grade level.  Each group will work together to create a common assessment that they all can use in their math classes.   They will do this by going through a checklist.

Pre-Instructional Activities

Before our session educators were given a brief survey about their learning styles, comfortability with collaboration when planning, experience with creating common assessment, and enough time for collaboration in creating common assessment.  With this information I found out that my educators are either visual or hands on learners and some have experience with creating common assessments.  There is one new teacher that may need more support.  I will make sure his group is aware.

Strategies for Teaching Each Objective

From the survey taken by each educator it read that most are either visual or hands on learner.  I will take this into account when I am demonstrating.  Each objective must be mastered or accomplished.  This is done with help of a checklist for the educators.

Media Selections and Rationales for Delivery of Instruction

The materials required is a computer, Edulastic credentials per educator, and a checklist for objectives.  The lesson will take about 15 minutes then educators will be able to use the remaining time to work collectively as a grade level to construct common assessments and complete the tasks.
